Since 1988, Haley’s Flooring and Interiors has welcomed generations of families through its doors. What began as a four-person operation specializing in commercial flooring has grown to more than 120 employees and multiple divisions of business catering to residential buyers and commercial entities alike. Now in its 35th year of business, Haley’s is ramping up its cabinet division in a new facility along Governors West in Huntsville off I-565. The company’s Vice President and CFO, Michael Haley, said the team has outgrown its current warehouse space and is excited to grow at the additional property.
“Haley’s began under the name Carpet Systems when it opened in the 1980s,” said Michael. “We are and always have been a family operation that cares about its clients. That’s why my older brother Chris and I came on board and continued what our parents started. Several of our divisions are growing, but one of the most rapid is our cabinets. Our new facility will be an addition to our current operations that will include two distinct warehouses and office space dedicated to that area of business.”
The new cabinet operations will be located at 7220 Governors West. Currently, the cabinet division works specifically with builders. Haley’s other divisions including countertops, flooring, blinds, interiors, and others will remain at its Bob Wallace location. The new cabinet facility will be open near the end of May or early June.
“We hold ourselves to high standards when it comes to quality and service,” said Michael. “Our goal is to set ourselves apart from the big box stores by giving our clients the best service and competitive pricing. Whether you’re purchasing flooring for a brand-new starter home or downsizing because your kids left the nest, we can work with different budgets and objectives. Haley’s has a distinct warranty department, installation specialists, and even an in-house team that helps create custom designs.”
