805 Regal Drive has been home to several Huntsville businesses since its construction in the 1970s. Now, the 12,448 square-foot property is undergoing a major redevelopment to update the site with brand-new storefronts, sleek exterior lighting, paint, signage, updated landscaping, and more. Construction for the project began in May 2021 and is expected to be complete in August.

“Huntsville has seen tremendous growth over the last decade, and with that has come the redevelopment of many older properties,” said Crunkleton VP of Leasing Zac Buckley who is overseeing the project. “We have been working with the owner of the property over the last year, and we felt like 805 Regal was a perfect candidate for redevelopment due to its location and the recent new development in the area, including Times Plaza, Merchants Square, and Merchants Walk. When complete, 805 Regal will have an attractive, modern design that will be more appealing to customers of the existing tenants and help attract new businesses as well.”

805 Regal Drive’s redevelopment is being handled by a team of industry experts including Crunkleton Commercial Real Estate and Stanley Graham Construction, with design credited to Schoel Markland Architecture. Together, they will transform the property and make it an ideal site for a number of uses such as medical offices, service retail, mortgage offices, soft goods retail, and others.

“A lot of improvements are coming to the property that will benefit its tenants,” said Zac. “The new storefronts will have floor-to-ceiling glass, which means increased visibility and more natural light. We are moving away from the box signage and switching it up to a cleaner design. Monument signage will also be updated, as well as landscaping and exterior lighting. A new roof will also be added.”

805 Regal Drive is located at the corner of L&N Drive and Regal Drive. The site has plenty of on-site parking for tenants and customers.
