Pet Supplies Plus Now Open On Memorial Parkway!

In 2018, Pet Supplies Plus opened its first location in the Huntsville/Madison market at Midtown Marketplace in Madison. It didn’t take long for business to boom—enough that owners Ray and Ronda Bellenfant decided to expand its footprint and open a second location in Huntsville.

Pet Supplies Plus’ new site is located at 2900 Memorial Parkway SW and is open Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The new store is situated at Academy Plaza, home of Academy Sports and Aldi, and is now open for business. Its soft opening was last week, and the ribbon cutting is scheduled for June 23^rd at 10 a.m. Customers are already venturing inside to check out the brand’s endless list of high-quality pet supplies and food.

Pet Supplies Plus offers a wide variety of products at a great value to ensure pets’ overall wellness. Its experienced and knowledgeable team members are available on-site to answer a broad range of questions about dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and fish.

The Huntsville location’s store manager, Bobby Bellenfant, will handle day-to-day operations and uphold the Bellenfant family’s passion for the wellbeing of animals. At the time of opening the Madison location, the Bellenfants held the record of most pets owned by anyone who opened a Pet Supplies Plus location. They also actively foster for A New Leash on Life and do their best to find forever homes for pets across the Tennessee Valley.

Crunkleton’s VP of Leasing Zac Buckley helped Ray and his team secure the new location and is excited to see the brand grow. When asked why they chose Academy Plaza as its Huntsville site, Ray said that “its visibility, central location, and co-tenants were a big factor.”

“Being next to Aldi is perfect for us because the shopper can take care of all their needs in one convenient trip,” said Ray. “We expect a lot of shared foot traffic that will benefit everyone, most importantly our customers. Our goal was to be more accessible to all areas of Huntsville and our new location will help us take service to the next level.”

Pet Supplies Plus welcomes guests to bring their pets along on their next shopping trip. There are plenty of treats and goodies that line the walls, making each visit a memorable experience for four-legged family members. If your dog needs a good bath, you can take them to the back of the shop where a pet wash station makes the process quick and efficient.

“We believe that pets are valued members of the family, and we want to ensure they live long healthy lives,” said Bobby. “For that reason, we carry brand-name products, match prices, and even work with local animal charities and foster groups to advocate for our local pet community.
