Crunkleton Commercial Real Estate Finds New Home On Pratt Avenue!

Crunkleton Commercial Real Estate is thrilled to announce that the business will soon be moving to its new permanent location at 300 Pratt Avenue in Downtown Huntsville. Construction is currently underway at the 4,800-square-foot facility and the company is slated to move in June 2020.

When searching for a new home, founders Wesley and Richard Crunkleton wanted a spot that would be close to Downtown Huntsville’s many amenities, be easily accessible to clientele, provide plenty of space for staff, and allow for future growth. Wesley, a seasoned developer, saw the potential as he drove past the old beige building on Pratt Avenue.

“Several people asked us why we didn’t just tear down the existing building and start over,” shared Wesley. “We prefer to work with what we have rather than start from scratch whenever possible. Once we knew what we had to work with, it was a matter of fitting it to our needs and adding the design elements.”

Outside, the once bland exterior is being transformed with a sleek new design that incorporates stylish black-frame store fronts, trex decking installed vertically—wrapping the front of the building—and an entrance tunnel constructed of cedar.

“When it comes to the design, I have to give a lot of the credit to Nola|VanPeursem Architects,” said Wesley. “They did an excellent job of coming up with different schemes for the exterior and we collaborated well to create the final product. It’s very modern and does a great job of representing our brand.”

In addition to trendy design concepts, comfort was also taken into account. A central lounge area with couches and chairs where guests can relax and converse will be a welcomed feature. There will also be large and small conference rooms equipped with DIRTT media walls and Gauzy glass for private meetings and gatherings.

“I love creating new spaces and I like the neighborhood we will be in,” said Wesley. “As Downtown Huntsville continues to expand, the area of Pratt Avenue, Meridian Street, and Washington Street will become a new growth corridor. It’s going to be an exceptional location for our clients and team. This move will allow for continued growth and ensure that we offer the same focused service to our clients.”
