Another year has flown by and we couldn’t be happier as we reflect on all of the incredible people, businesses, and events we were able to work with throughout 2019.
Our firm has had the privilege of bringing new developments to the area, like Times Plaza and the ongoing redevelopment of 125 North Side Square in downtown Huntsville. We’ve watched businesses grow and thrive, like the many new additions to Stovehouse. And we’ve even had several of our families in the office welcome new babies. It has been a big year!
It’s time to take a moment and share what we are thankful for this past year. Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours!
New Business Openings
One of the great things about our office is that we get to experience the excitement and joy that comes with new businesses opening their doors to the public. This year, we attended the grand openings of new restaurants, retail shops, and more including:
In addition to the store openings we celebrated, we also announced several new businesses that are coming soon and plan to open in 2020! Scroll through our blog to see our latest announcements and subscribe to get the news in your inbox when a new concept is coming to the Huntsville/Madison area.
This summer, we were lucky enough to spend a day at The Buckley’s family farm in Tennessee. Our VP of Leasing, Zac Buckley, and his family graciously invited the whole team and their families to a beautiful lunch that was—in a word—delicious. (Zac wasn’t kidding when he told the office his mother, Pamela Buckley, is an awesome cook!)
The lazy day was spent on the patio talking, enjoying the breeze, and eating lots of food.
We couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon. And everyone left wanting the recipe for Pamela’s bread.
At the Crunkleton office, we’ve had several families grow and welcome precious babies into the world. Office Manager, Jordan, was the first and she is now a proud mother to Ford. He’s almost a year old and is a spunky little boy full of personality. He loves trucks, silly dancing, and being outdoors.
Next was Shelby Smith, our Property Manager, who had a beautiful baby girl named Kennedy. This lovely angel is rarely seen without a fashionable bow in her hair and a smile on her face. Kennedy spends her time watching Veggie Tales and getting to know her best friend—and family dog—Maggie.
Finally, our Associate Broker and retail specialist, Anusha Alapati Davis, brought a gorgeous little girl to the family named Norah. She loves to cuddle with her mommy and daddy. Not to mention, she’s got a smile that will melt your heart.
These children are a blessing and we couldn’t be more thankful to welcome them into our office family.
June was dedicated to the Downtown Open and Crunkleton was again the title sponsor. This year, the competition boasted some very unique and intricate putt putt hole designs that made the event one to remember. At our spot, we gave away a $50 gift card to the new Melt restaurant at The Avenue on Jefferson Street.
The Crush Wine & Food Festival was amazing as always and extended to five whole days this year. Recently named one of the Top 20 events in the Southeast by the Southeast Tourism Society, this festival is growing every year!
We brought back our signature “tailgate tent” where everyone can watch football as they sip different wines from around the world. We were also able to join in the event’s newest addition, the Champagne Kick-Off Party. This was a great opportunity to meet all of the other businesses and vendors that are involved with the festival.
Madison was packed to the brim during the Madison Street Festival in October and we all took turns managing our booth on Sponsor Row. The festival attracted many new, talented art vendors and had incredible food offerings from around the city. We also had an chance to talk to people about The Avenue Madison that is coming soon to the area.
AUM is an awesome foundation with a life-changing cause behind it. It’s a global organization formed with “the mission to empower socially and economically disadvantaged individuals and groups to become successful.” At its Bollywood Comes To Burritt event, we heard stories from women who the organization has helped and we danced the night away Bollywood style.
And, last but not least, the Huntsville Museum of Art’s annual Skating in the Park is going on. We encourage everyone to head over to the rink with family and friends for a night of holiday fun.
Thank you to all of the organizers and creators of these events for including us!
We hope that this Thanksgiving brings you and your loved ones many blessings.
