Creative digital marketing agency Rocket City Digital (RCD) has relocated its office to the burgeoning Lincoln Mill development. Now in its fourth year of business, RCD is excited to welcome its clients to a brand-new 2,574 square foot space in the redeveloped property on Meridian Street.
“We call ourselves creatives for capitalism,” explained CEO Nick Lasater. “Our goal is to produce the marketing materials a business needs to see a measurable return on their investment. All of the creative work is completed in-house without any contracting or outsourcing. The team we’ve built has a diverse skillset and knowledge base to ensure our clients are getting the highest quality deliverables.”
Services at RCD cover a wide range of marketing needs including video production, social media management, printed collateral, website development/design, photography, e-commerce, targeted ads, Google Analytics, and much more. Clients can rely on the creative agency for all of their marketing essentials or outsource select items like its website development or digital ad design.
RCD also specializes in brand creation from the ground up, something new businesses are often in need of. They work with established brands to revamp existing looks and messaging to enhance business. Everything is crafted with a strategy in mind.
“Part of the battle is finding what works best for each client,” said Nick. “Organizational goals vary, and we spend time assessing each client to determine what creative strategies, materials, and channels they should allocate funds toward. Posting on social media is great, but is the right audience being reached? It’s our job to come up with a plan that helps our clients break their sales goals and build their business.”
In 2018, RCD was awarded Emerging Business of the Year by the Huntsville-Madison County Chamber of Commerce. They attribute their continued recognition to a passionate team with a heart for bridging the gap between creatives and entrepreneurs. In 2021, at the American Advertising Federation of North Alabama’s award show, RCD took home 12 ADDYs. Among them was the Mosaic Award, an honor given to companies who display a commitment to inclusion and diversity in its creative work.
RCD works with a list of clients that span several industries including hospitality, custom construction, government contracting, music, automotive, and others. They have also fostered business partnerships on local, regional, and national levels. One of its legacy clients, Cullum Homes, is located in Arizona. With the business growing and taking on more accounts, the team knew it was time to upgrade their office.
“We’ve always dreamed of having a space like the one we have at Lincoln Mill,” shared Nick. “The plans for the property’s redevelopment drew us in and we are looking forward to having so many amenities within reach.” Rocket City Digital officially moved into its new space in December 2020 and has been fully operational since January 1.
“Our clients have been impressed when they walk in and see the giant windows, industrial vibe, and third-floor views of the campus,” said Nick. “Creatives thrive when working in spaces that inspire them, and that’s what we are trying to deliver with our new office. We look forward to being a part of Lincoln Mill’s legacy and welcoming our new and existing clients to this historic, unique space.”
Last week, the local news announced that a new concept was making its way to downtown Huntsville. This new convenience store, known as DGX, will open on the ground floor of the newly constructed city parking deck at Greene Street and Holmes Avenue. DGX is a creation from the Dollar General corporation “designed to meet the unique needs of customers living, working, and visiting vibrant metropolitan centers.” This is the first DGX store to open in the state of Alabama.
A new gourmet burger restaurant recently opened in Jones Valley, inviting Huntsville to sample a menu of fresh casual fare that appeals to everyone in the family. Cheeseburger Bobby’s, an eatery founded in 2007 by Bobby Stoll, now has several locations as the franchise has grown in popularity throughout the Southeast. Its space at Legacy Marketplace in Jones Valley will serve the brand’s signature menu along with fast, friendly service.
