A new locally owned and operated barbecue concept will make its debut at the revived Lincoln Mill campus in late Spring 2022. Fusion Barbecue will open in a 2,646 square-foot space at the property’s Dye House where it will serve up a full menu of barbecue dishes prepared with internationally inspired flavors. Fusion Barbecue joins the already announced retail businesses and fitness studios at Lincoln Mill including Turbo Coffee Roasters, Heritage Kitchen + Bath, Three15 Studio, and Iron Tribe Fitness.

Owners say that Fusion Barbecue will offer a different take on well-known barbecue dishes, prepared using a combination of traditional smoking methods and international flair. After years of working on preparation, ingredient selection, and recipes, the team is excited to finally bring their vision to life at the redeveloped Lincoln Mill.

Guests will be able to enjoy a variety of plates inspired mostly by Asian cuisine—think Asian Bourbon-Glazed Ribs, Wagyu Brisket Bao Buns, and smoked duck wings. There will also be side items like Hot Honey Brussels and French Fries deep-fried in Wagyu beef fat. For dessert, the team recommends giving the Miso Cheesecake with Oreo crust a try. It will come with a house-made blackberry-caramel reduction. All of this is just a sample of what’s to come!

When asked what makes them unique, Fusion Barbecue said, “We put a lot of time and love into slow smoking these meats to perfection, paired with the unique sauces and sides that we have to offer. We think it’s going to be a big hit in the Huntsville community.”

They take pride in bringing inventive recipes to the market and using the highest quality ingredients available. American Wagyu beef brisket will be a staple on the menu and they will feature new unique dishes each season.

Lincoln Mill immediately attracted Fusion Barbecue because of the property’s vibe, co-tenancy, history, and ease of accessibility from all areas of the city. Because they are a brand-new concept, the barbecue joint wanted to plant its roots in an area that was already growing and showed trends of continued growth. Meridian Street fit the bill, and they will soon be an on-campus dining experience for Lincoln Mill tenants as well as a fun hangout for the public.

When it comes to atmosphere, Fusion Barbecue will showcase a modern rustic feel. The space will have a full-service bar with signature cocktails and a garage door that allows for drink service from a beautiful outdoor patio. Fusion aims to be a destination where guests can dine, mingle, and come together over a shared love of delicious food.
