On the corner of the historic downtown Huntsville square, a new Crunkleton Commercial Real Estate project is underway. To be known as the “Corner Office”, the new development will give a much-needed facelift to a property that has seen many lives and uses over the course of its existence.

125 North Side Square near Washington Street will soon be transformed into a Class-A space that features both retail and modern offices.

Work to improve the site began a few weeks ago as crews built a barrier around the left side of the building out front. Now, redevelopment is in full swing with a laundry list of enhancements that will make the site an experience to visit and one office workers will enjoy/benefit from.

First of all, a new attractive lobby will be added on the ground floor where offices can receive visitors. There will also be balconies added to the front of the building so, during a busy workday, tenants can step outside and enjoy a breath of fresh air while surveying the busy downtown streets below. Other exterior improvements will also be seen including fresh new paint.

Inside, the spaces will be updated and improved while still maintaining the building’s original charm (example: exposed brick accents). Very soon, it will house beautiful, contemporary office spaces suited to modern use.

The first floor will encompass 1,750 square feet of retail/restaurant/entertainment space. And the second and third floors have a combined 7,000 square feet of office space that is currently divided into four 1,750-square-foot suites—two on the second floor and two on the third floor. These suites can also be combined if needed.

Development for this property is tentatively scheduled for completion later this year! So stay tuned for more updates.
