On the Crunkleton blog, we have the privilege of sharing exciting announcements with our followers. Whether it’s a new restaurant, fitness studio, entertainment concept, or office user, we love getting the scoop and helping our audience be the first in-the-know!
If you comb through our blogs over the past few years, you’ll watch the city grow and continually transform into a destination with more diverse food options, exciting experiences, fun events, and retail that makes Huntsville special.
What excited you the most this year? We wanted to find out. So, we looked over the numbers and found our Top 5 Blogs from 2019. If you haven’t had a chance to check them out, we provided links after each description.
Airy, calming, clean, and cozy—Caley Paige Home & Gifts was an instant hit from the moment it opened its doors. Owner Brooke Busby welcomed customers in September and has loved every minute in her new shop. (It was especially gorgeous during the holiday season with all of its Christmas trees and décor!)
Shoppers can find everything beautiful at Caley Paige including pottery, purses, candles, mugs, baby items, t-shirts, gardening supplies, makeup bags—the list goes on. But everything in the store is carefully curated to create a serene and enjoyable atmosphere. It will also give you some serious inspiration for jazzing up your interior design game.
Downtown’s ongoing revitalization means everyone is interested in seeing what new developments are popping up in the neighborhood. In October, we announced that Crunkleton would be giving a much-needed facelift to 125 North Side Square located on Downtown’s historic square.
To be known as the “Corner Office”, the project is well underway and scheduled to be completed soon. It has already received a fresh coat of paint and many exterior improvements that are easily seen when walking down the street. Balconies for the second and third floors are the next step.
Who doesn’t love a good burger? Apparently, our followers are all about the premium Angus burgers and American fare served up at Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar in Times Plaza.
This restaurant is already open and serving up its “elevated” menu of appetizers, salads, burgers, shakes, and desserts. They also have alternative options for their beef like bison, tuna, chicken, and a vegetarian black bean burger.
Super Chix Chicken & Custard has drawn in crowds since its opening at Times Plaza. Its hand-breaded or grilled chicken sandwiches are taken to a whole new level and paired with delicious seasoned French fries, fried pickles, and daily-churned frozen custard. (And don’t forget its flavorful salads!)
Personally, we love the sauce bar where patrons can choose everything from house-made ranch dressing to Super Chix’s signature sauce. They are all incredible.

Stovehouse welcomes thousands of leisure-loving guests to its campus weekly to enjoy its many local restaurants and live entertainment. Now, developers are moving to the next phase of the project, a shopping district to be known as Gaslight Alley.
Encompassing several retail spaces along a picturesque cobblestone walkway, Gaslight Alley will be a one-of-a-kind shopping destination that offers all kinds of retail concepts.
As Stovehouse celebrated the Grand Opening of Pourhouse in May, we shared a blog that covered everything about the Food & Leisure Garden from where to park and sit to enjoying the development in all kinds of weather.
For anyone visiting Stovehouse for this first time, it’s a very helpful guide to enjoy the development to the fullest.
Oh, one more thing! Today, Stovehouse announced a NEW TENANT coming to the development. Co-Op Brewpub, a business consisting of Good People Brewing Company, Avondale Brewing Company, Straight to Ale Brewing, and Druid City Brewing plans to begin construction in early January and is aiming for a late summer 2020 opening!
NEW UPDATE: Crunkleton Joins Retail Brokers Network
We can’t help but share another exciting piece of news as we head into 2020. Crunkleton recently joined the Retail Brokers Network, a national networking group whose members specialize in retail real estate brokerage.
Its network of independent firms work together on a regional, national, and international level in all areas of commercial real estate including tenant representation, investment sales, and project leasing. In addition, it provides unprecedented networking, monthly conference calls, regional meetings, and access to information on a national scale.
We are thrilled to be a part of RBN and look forward to all of the opportunities it brings in the coming year.
